...as a father and a gear head. Last night I was watching Top Gear, and my daughter who's 1 (16 months), took this wooden car and started saying "oom" (the 'vroom' without the vr). She moved it back and forth on the ground, then started racing it across her chest, lol. It was the cutest thing.
I should note, I have never seen her do this before, but I have heard about it from my wife, so it was a treat for me!
I think the best part of being a parent, is watching them grow up. Seeing how they problem solve, how they have fun, watching them try new things....I'm proud to be her father, :).
